About

As a seasoned Pilot Examiner with a passion for flight training, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals to improve their skills and achieve their aviation goals. Having flown and instructed for years in Colorado, I specialize in Mountain Flying, High Altitude aircraft performance, and mentorship of helicopter owner-pilots. In addition to flight training, I offer aircraft acquisition and sales services for a seamless helicopter ownership experience.

Beyond my professional pursuits, my family and I enjoy activities like camping, skiing, rafting, and exploring the beauty of the American West. I’m grateful to be able to explore the world from the air as well as the ground. Prior to aviation, I worked in a variety of industries – from leading outdoor excursions to 5 star luxury hotel management. When working with me, you can expect expert knowledge, positivity, calm professionalism, and consistent adherence to best practices.

As Chair of the VAI (Vertical Aviation International) Industry Advisory Council on Safety and a Project Lead for the USHST (United States Helicopter Safety Team), I’m committed to promoting safety and risk management in aviation. It’s a privilege to be a part of these groups and to pass on the knowledge and techniques that allow for safe, confident flight. I’ve implemented and consulted on Safety Management Systems for numerous operators – I’d love to help you reduce risk in your operations.

Whether you’re just exploring helicopter ownership, a pilot looking to broaden your mountain flying skills, or needing insurance-approved make/model training, I’m here to provide personalized services. Contact me today to discuss your aviation goals.
